 As mentioned above pay close attention to gear ratios . The common swap back in the day was 5 speed from  5.0 mustang. If you use one with these ratios you need to go down in rear gear 3.00 3.55 max.   If you run 3.89 1st and 2nd gear are pretty much useless . (5.0 mustangs came with 3.08 rears in the 80 s and 90s )   

If you decide to do it you will need to drill the hole out in the firewall where the clutch shaft goes. An expensive fix if you ever decide to restore it for judging.

So these contain enough dna to restore those cars right ........  asking for a friend who own the restoration shop .

Let's see, he would need, to refurbish everything to working condition.

He would need fuel rails, a relay system, wiring, thermistor, a computer and a few other miscellaneous items.

It would be great if he could do it. Based on what he has found so far, he just might be able to! I wish him the best of luck.

And just to be clear pete has refused to share any info on those items

Whats is inside a conelec
  pump-o-lator ?  lower 1/2 is resovoir with fuel filter

 2 conelec  pumps found ... wonder where these are  from   they were installed at some point .

I've never gone as much as 1/3. I usually offset it about 1/2" and use Ultra black RTV on the joint. I find myself second guessing the lube on the crank. You want enough that the RTV doesn't stick to the crank and the seal is lubed at start up, but not so much that it affects the RTV.

I'm pretty anal about oil leaks if you haven't guessed.

the key to using the 2 part  seal is  not  setting it on same plane at the main cap . rotate it 1/3  and ad a dab of rtv  on the gap .

With ports like those, that can't be just a regular production Ford intake? What is it?
