If ANY 65/6 Mustang was ordered with disc brakes they were the same as the GT350. The GT package (on A,C,D+K codes) included the disc brake option. You can have a non-GT K with drum brakes if they didn't want to spend the money.
Front Disc Brakes
1965 was the first year that the Mustang offered front disc brakes. Adding disc brakes was a option and cost an extra $58.
NOTE: They were only available on V8 (5 lug) cars.
