Thank you, Dan, for these closeup pictures of the choke cable bracket differences.  You enabled me to identify the "lazy Z" bracket which I have had for years.  Your knowledge is amazing.
Congratulations, Mike.

A collector car (read not driven) may not purposely be registered for these reasons, which may become an issue when sold.

Mike, How about a LLC in Montana and eliminate the taxes on it altogether.

Serious reading and wise counsel is encouraged before you go down this road.

I've had a strong curiosity about Group II cars since first hearing about them, so I appreciate this topic.  Happy to learn any information on these that I can.  Please continue.

Hey, Vern: any pictures?
Or, wait until the hottest day of the summer and leave the car out in full sun all day to make the plastic as flexible as possible.  Seriously.
Your chrome shop must understand that the autolite must be preserved in their process.  That is the whole point.
If they fill it in and buff it out, it is ruined.

Isn't this color breakdown in one of the published Registries?
Congratulations!  Enjoy your KR.
With that alternator gauge exposed out of the console mounting, please be VERY cautious of the positive wire; it carries a lot of juice.  No room for error!
What a shot! And a worthy honor!
Congratulations Brian.

Isn't one under the dash and kind of small?  Had some NOS (C7Z) once that were blue.
