-NOS Mustang gas cap with retaining cable
-NOS instrument cluster bezel, Falcon style

Quote from: Bob Gaines on December 23, 2024, 06:47:06 PMHi Bob, yes that is correct its for a 65 build not for our 66. Thanks so much for that info. I am sure no one has one or they would have chimed in already. Always appreciate your wealth of knowledge and memory because mine is going lol.Quote from: Jbarela on December 23, 2024, 04:39:24 PMI am a little confused on what you are working on now but on genuine 65 GT350's the early cars came with a C5ZA-B 3.89 open rear end marked tag that Shelby added the Detroit Locker to at SA . On later built cars SA paid Ford to do the Detroit locker install from the Ford assemblyline and those later cars tags were marked C5ZX-A most likely related to that change. 66 GT350 had different C6ZX marked tagsQuote from: Bob Gaines on December 22, 2024, 11:26:41 PMQuote from: Jbarela on December 22, 2024, 10:09:22 PMAlso depending on the date will determine what engineering number will be on the tag.Quote from: J_Speegle on December 22, 2024, 05:24:32 PMMight want to provide the date range your looking for if that is important to you.hi Jeff ..so good to hear from you! Thank you for that..I forgot what was on the tag at the time I posted lol

Thanks bob!! I have been so out of it since the shelby was finished that I forgot everything. Build date of car is jan 65, case is dated 4K it's a bit early but was the best choice at the time. With that being said can you help me determine an acceptable tag. I looked at the tag on the 66 but not sure if the 65s tags were different. Thanks for the help.
