What date code are you looking for? Or are you open for any date code up to say 1970? They would all be C5OF-12127-E, there are a few on Ebay.

Quote from: Bill Sander on September 29, 2024, 05:25:07 PMJust a newbie but, 82 years old signing in for the first time. Always wondered what became of my 65 GT350 (number around 50 as I recall)that I sold to Don McNeil , Columbus, Ohi about 1981. I do know who owns my 1965 Cobra CSX2401.
CSX2401 is in a great home in Greensboro, NC. I'll let the owner know you posted here.

Just purchased two items, could someone pick a blue binder Cobra Ferrari Wars for me? ;)

With the 1st edition, it was available is either a blue or red binder and the customer could choose which color depending whether they were a Cobra or Ferrari fan. Did Schoen do the same with the reprint edition?

Quote from: SCOTTGTK on September 02, 2024, 01:57:08 PMThanks A-Snake... that video shows an "outdoor" "ember" fire which Element's website says is best extinguished with water? I would imagine there are many situations one could be pro Element or con Element, but for the average (if such a thing)fire on one of our prized Mustangs, this extinguisher seems well suited.. hopefully we never have to prove it one way or another.

You might want to watch this video before purchasing the Element 50.

Quote from: SFM5S159 on August 19, 2024, 10:16:37 AMDoes $857k seem a little light for CSX2540?  About right?  I would have guessed over $900k.
Very low, IMO. That's a nice car.

CSX 2000 Series / Re: Mk2 Cobra engine
July 14, 2024, 06:22:16 PM
Quote from: Cobramax on July 14, 2024, 02:11:27 PMThe engine number was stamped on the Shelby serial number tag on at least some 289 Cobras.
Typically, the Cobra footbox tag began at the CSX22xx mark. (The beginning of the third contact of cars.) AC Cars Ltd stamped the VIN number on the tag and Shelby American stamped the engine number on the tag. Some Cobras below CSX22xx had footbox tags added at a later time. Perhaps some stated required an easily found and displayed VIN.
