A known manufacturer of these keys was PENNANT, and was so marked on the tool. The 'T' handle differed from the one pictured. Perhaps around 40 cars got this type of latch before SA designed the 'tear drop' chrome latch.

The question in my mind is, why would you want this type rather than the "quick open" latch that replaced the removable T handle? Imagine you see smoke or fire under the bonnet and you're trying to remember where you put the 'T' handle. In a door pocket, the glove box, the boot?

I assume they will accept the AC 289 Sports that were build along side the Cobras at AC Cars Ltd. They are part of the 998 original Cobras.

Kranky, Did you notice the unusual height & width of the rear view mirror on that 289? Unless it's due to the camera angle?

What date code are you looking for? Or are you open for any date code up to say 1970? They would all be C5OF-12127-E, there are a few on Ebay.

Just a newbie but, 82 years old signing in for the first time. Always wondered what became of my 65 GT350 (number around 50 as I recall)that I sold to Don McNeil , Columbus, Ohi about 1981. I do know who owns my 1965 Cobra CSX2401.

CSX2401 is in a great home in Greensboro, NC. I'll let the owner know you posted here.

Just purchased two items, could someone pick a blue binder Cobra Ferrari Wars for me?

With the 1st edition, it was available is either a blue or red binder and the customer could choose which color depending whether they were a Cobra or Ferrari fan. Did Schoen do the same with the reprint edition?

Thanks A-Snake... that video shows an "outdoor" "ember" fire which Element's website says is best extinguished with water? I would imagine there are many situations one could be pro Element or con Element, but for the average (if such a thing)fire on one of our prized Mustangs, this extinguisher seems well suited.. hopefully we never have to prove it one way or another.
