To me Jeff was one of the most giving persons in the SAAC community. Such a loss. My condolences to Immediate family and friends.

Last saw Jeff at SAAC 49. I had the only 2005 FORD GT in attendance and the GT Registrar, Jeff Burgy was quick to point that out. we have been friends for 20 years. He was the quintessential SAAC member! 49 Conventions attended! very sad news.

I will miss talking to you, and I will certainly miss receiving the wonderful photos that you took at so many different events that you shared with me, unsolicited, via email.

That was very very cool of you to do over the years.

Tell Jim Cowles I said hello ! 🙏☮️

Oh no, so sorry to read of Jeff's passing.

The Shelby world has lost a good and generous man.

Rest in peace.
Like my father, I have just two emotions: Rage and Supressed Rage.

Sad to hear of Jeffs passing. One of the real Open Hood characters.
Always a pleasure to follow his findings and show reports and digging together for some hidden information beyond the basics.

Such sad news for sure.

We have known Jeff for what seems forever through the Shelby Club for the past 40+ years and seeing and talking with him at auctions like Mecum and Barrett Jackson and even at the Rolex 24 hrs for the introduction of the Ford GT returning to racing.  He always had time to stop and talk.

I spoke with Jeff Friday night at the dinner at Fords at Carlisle and he was so upbeat and looked great.  He was talking about how much better he feels eating better and losing weight.  This absolutely the last thing I would have expected to read this morning.  Diana

Jeff will truly be missed by everyone that knew him.  May he ride into the sunset in his Thunderbird.

Good speed Jeff

Such sad news. Jeff Burgy, always with a smile. A mainstay, of the Shelby World.

We will miss you, my friend. God Bless.

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Jeff was the gold standard for a friend. Here he is in February in Naples for the "Cars on Fifth" event. Jeff with another derelict (there would be a second in the photo, but I was taking the picture). If you were in his "car show photos" email chain, you had hours of entertainment.

Sad news. RIP Jeff,
45 years ago, Jeff taught me the difference between Standard and HiPo 289 engines.
He posted my questions and his answers with excellent illustrations in The Marque/Shelby American.
I lived in Sweden then.

I remember Jeff's photos, stories and drawings in the old Shelby Marques and would talk to him at every convention I would attend. One of few left that had attended every SAAC Convention. Very sad he passed so close to SAAC 50 and even closer to Father's Day. We have lost another member who has contributed so much to SAAC over all these years. RIP Jeff.
