No matter how I phrase it, the words are insufficient.

I am so sorry.

I never knew the man, but may he find joy in Valhalla on an asphalt highway.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

I met Jeff at SAAC 1. I saw him last a couple years ago at a SoCal car show. It was good to catch up on our families. Our daughter would babysit Heather (now a Dr) at the conventions for Diane & Jeff. He was a Ford engineer and even did technical illustrations (some appeared in the Marque). He will be missed.

Such sad news, my condolences to Jeff's family.

Jeff helped me in my early Shelby days with my first 66. Really helpful guy and so kind to a young guy with a new GT350.
Sadly missed.

Sad to hear so close to SAAC 50 which he would have been in attendance. Many years from SOA to many conventions thru the years.

Met Jeff at SAAC 7 in Great Gorge, talked about Panteras, and had many discussions thereafter.  Not enough words to express the loss to his family and the SAAC community.  God Speed

Condolences to all of Jeff's family.  He was a kind man and always pleasant despite life's challenges.  The day was dimmed by this news.

There are some names in SAAC that I have always assumed were immortal.  Jeff's is one of them and will remain so.

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Always enjoyed seeing Jeff. This is terrible news and I send deep condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear the news of Jeff's passing. Although I never met him personally, I felt I knew him through his great articles in the Shelby American.  God bless!

That is so sad news because he was one of the great ones.Condolences to all his friends and family. Jeff set the standard for a kind car guy. I could always count on him sending me pictures of the car events. Rest in peace my friend.
