I recall Jim Cowles doing a starter for me years ago with the ink stamp.  Wasnt sure on the physical stamping of this part or application.  Bob - you are correct the nose cone is marked D3

Quote from: deathsled on October 05, 2020, 10:14:42 PMInteresting positioning of the bullet mirror on the driver's side.  Hey, if it works, do it.
Perfect spot for racing along with not trying to see over the rear quarter

Do they keep running when switch is turned off?  Pretty simple mechanical setup with the articulation of the arms.  I'd look at the switch for replacement and confirm the arms are operating as designed.

I'm good now but if you have perfect grade 9-10 I'm interested for future projects. Let me know via PM and date range is not important. I have about 7 original ranging from 5-7 out of 10 in my opinion.  Will be selling off soon.

Yes Bob certainly etched on the inside.  This was another issue I had with the supplier they etched on the outside

I purchased glass from Kentucky Mustang they buy by the pallet.  They were kind enough to go into the warehouse look at the inventory, send me pictures, and discuss condition over the phone.  Excellent customer service! Once I received the glass I used ArmorEtch to get the center line etched into the glass. I will be generating my own Carlite logo and etching as well.

Thanks Kentucky Mustang and Bill Collins for transporting from Columbus

Magnaflow makes a Turbo muffler in stainless.  Doesn't have the droan or typical bad noise associated with the chambered mufflers.  Doesn't say magnaflow on the muffler but is made by them in the USA.  I'm running Dougs long tube with H pipe and the car sounds like a 60's muscle car should hands down.

Wasn't Shelby Parts and Restoration once providing this service?

Yes, I called ECS first they said they did not want to sell me the glass.  I asked for glass that would fit and not wavy and was told I'm looking for perfection and they don't sell that.
DVAP does not have any

Hopefully someone has a good half century old original part that was made in the USA by SKILLED craftsman

Still looking for original rear glass in very good condition.  I've spent 8 months and many returns on the reproductions.  Looking for the best I can find I'll pay for shipping as required.  This is the only thing holding up finalizing the restoration of my personal car.

Very much appreciate any help in locating
