Wipers fail to park

The windshield wipers on my 65 fail to go to the park position when I turn wiper switch to off. Anyone know of a remedy or at least what feature of the wiper system has failed? Thank you in advance, Paul.

Do they keep running when switch is turned off?  Pretty simple mechanical setup with the articulation of the arms.  I'd look at the switch for replacement and confirm the arms are operating as designed.
