White zip tie holding the power steering dust boot on. Couldn't find a black one and at least cut it flush?

When I bought my Shelby at a CA dealership I had to fill out paperwork stating that the car was leaving the state of CA. They did not want me to avoid paying the sales tax. It's ok CT got me when I registered it there and still paying property tax on it. CT had a summer/winter blend if gas not sure if they still do that. Kind of a joke it will still mellow if it sits too long.

I bought one of these myself and they work great. The one I bought is no longer available but there are others like it. Great also for looking in engine cylinder walls.

How much does that super sized poop add to the car?

Up For Auction / Re: 67400F5A01128 on BAT

Never looked into the details of selling items on BAT didn't know that you could not be approved or rejected to sell. I do find like others have stated lots of cheerleaders and back slapping in the comments section. People asking ridiculous questions like "Does the vehicle have A/C?" when clearly there is no compressor or other A/C items. Maybe they are trying to be funny but they ask the question a lot and are not bidders. I attended their cars & coffee event last year in MA. Lots of cool & interesting vehicles got to put some miles on my car. Considered getting an account on BAT but would have to refrain from commenting.

I had the opportunity to see this car in person at a car show CJ Pony parts had years ago. Always wondered what was going to happen to this car. Shame someone used it for target practice. Thank you for sharing I might not have come across this myself.

Up For Auction / 2026 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction
December 02, 2025, 01:03:12 PM
There is a collection of Shelby Mustangs headed to the upcoming auction in Scottsdale for 2026. Too many to list individually and more may be added later so hopefully the link works. - Kevin

Mr. Gaines is correct on using an acid-based wheel cleaner. Mothers makes one for polished aluminum wheels that took off years of baked on brake dust without harming the finish. Only a little scrubbing was needed. He is also correct it is nasty stuff wear rubber gloves and some sort of glasses if working closely. The new versions are not as strong. - Kevin

I went to PITT twice because of this group. Took my wife to Engishtown before they stopped drag racing. Damn shame is right.

Thank you for the information. I wouldn't buy an old Shelby without bringing one of you guys along. I'd buy an old Mustang as a nice driver but not a Shelby poorly restored with high price tag.

Knowlege, question I have not owned an old Mustang yet. Is the fitment of the rear valance to rear quarter panels to fit that poorly normal? Why use rusty hardware to mount the front valance when the under-hood fender hardware is new and shiny. If you are paying that much for autobody work rusty hardware doesn't work for me. - Kevin

I have been using this product to clean my vehicles interiors for years. No greasy residue or shine. I don't even think there is a scent, but I don't have the ability to smell like I used to. Spray on a rag and wipe off.
