Parts For Sale / 1965 Shelby GT350 8K Tachometer
November 28, 2025, 10:50:09 AM
For sale is a new reproduction 1965 Shelby GT350 8K Tachometer.

Tachometer is new with instructions, even the wiring hasn't been undone from the zip tie from the manufacturer.  Tach has not been tested.

There is a small ding on the chrome ring face, not sure how easily the chrome ring can be popped off and pushed back out so to speak. The chrome finish isn't chipped, just dented. These tachs sell for about $490 from Branda

Asking $350, buyer pays shipping.

For sale is a set of Cobra 427 FE aluminum valve covers. I believe the manufacturer is Blue Thunder. These are the "non cut" version.

These are very nice with no breaks, cracks or gouges. Comes with breathers.

These sell for $600 on Brandas website when they are in stock, which they currently are not in stock.

SOLD, plus shipping

Parts For Sale / C8AF-12127-J 68 GT500 Distributor

For sale is an original C8AF-12127-J 1968 GT500 428 distributor with the single vacuum advance diaphragm and single point. Dated January 9th, 1968. Correct for an ealy to early/mid 68 GT500.

Used on both 4 speed and automatic 68 GT500s. The GT500 KR 428 cobra jet engines got a different distributor.

This distributor appears to be complete and spins freely. I would recommend a rebuild before dropping it into a 68 Shelby. The housing has not been sanded, media blasted or wire wheeled. Its was just lightly decreased and wiped down. Coil cable is in 1 piece, not cut. The end cap is not smashed and the black rubber mount on the distributor body still has its AUTOLITE stamp clearly visible.

Asking $700 plus shipping SOLD

Will trade/work a deal for a trade with an early dated 65 HiPo 289 C5OF-12127-E distributor (dated July-October 1964).

These valve covers are no longer available and have been for some time.

Will consider trades for NOS 65/66 Mustang parts, very nice 65 Fastback rear seat latch handle, original chrome S.M.C.O. radiator caps, July-October 64 dated HiPo distributor
