Bill Collins and I remember CJ's when they were operating out of a shed and a barn just outside of Harrisburg back in the late '80's early '90's. These were the days before AMK so I used to go out and pick through nuts, bolts and small hardware to clean up and refinish. Ah, "the good old days".

Nice going, Brian! Thanks for another great calendar.

I can attest that Shell 93 OCTANE non-ETHANOL with the prescribed dose of STABIL will last for up to two years. On cars that are not driven enough to keep fresh gas in them, I drain the tanks every two years and put that gas in my newer, frequently used vehicles with no adverse effect.

To minimize the possibility of surface rust forming on exhaust pipes, after they cool down I spray WD40 on a paper towel and wipe them down. (Having a garage with low humidity helps)

While the housing is the correct part, over the years, due to age, breaking, etc., the actual mirror may have been replaced.

Check out the EWBANK SC1000 on Amazon.  I purchased this item a couple of years ago to remove window tinting on a couple of cars and it worked flawlessly. Also used it to clean tile grout on kitchen floor, etc.  Runs for about 45 minutes on one filling.

Got a kid or grand-kid that loves old cars? If only I were 65 years younger!
(I got most of the knowledge the hard way and from the kindness of people who shared their skills with me but it certainly would've sped up the process had I been able to take a course of study like the one offered above.)

Congratulations, Vern. No doubt you'll take care of transportation but now, with FOUR ladies in the family, you're probably going to need more bathrooms! :)

FWIW, a few years ago, I put on 195/70x14 BFG Touring T/A's. They have a diameter of 24.74 inches and the originally spec'd Goodyear Blue Streaks have a diameter of 24.83 inches. They are non-white lettered and look very believable on the car and are reasonably easy to steer when parking, turning, etc.  Fairly difficult to find but stock is out there.

Chris Harris is a great driver and an excellent sports car journalist.  He has numerous YouTube videos but this one is extra special.  If you like Mustangs, if you like racing, especially F1, you'll enjoy this insight into the mind of a F1 champion and his first on-track experience with the new Mustang GTD:

So noted! Regardless, both bodies in the ad are classics...Definitely "High Performance"!

Could it be a carry-over? It has Cragars and you wouldn't see the '65 gauge pod from the angle shown.

When it was available, PlastiKote 224 Ford Blue was an excellent match.  If you can find any new old stock, grab it!

Brant, it's difficult for me to believe that you're old enough to retire since I'm so old, I remember doing business with your father. Thanks for all the great parts and service. Wishing you and yours health, happiness and many safe miles in retirement. You're a class act!
