Got a kid or grand-kid that loves old cars? If only I were 65 years younger!
(I got most of the knowledge the hard way and from the kindness of people who shared their skills with me but it certainly would've sped up the process had I been able to take a course of study like the one offered above.)

Chris Harris is a great driver and an excellent sports car journalist.  He has numerous YouTube videos but this one is extra special.  If you like Mustangs, if you like racing, especially F1, you'll enjoy this insight into the mind of a F1 champion and his first on-track experience with the new Mustang GTD:

April 11, 2025, 05:52:52 PM
Perhaps it's just me but, when I get a PM response, I get no e-mail notification of same or "flashing yellow light" on the Forum that I have a new PM. Am I missing something? If so, please tell me.

Great racing back in the day...Chaparral, Lola, Ferrari but 427 Cobras come on strong late in the race.

Shelby American was just a twinkle in his eye but he was selling cars in Dallas and at the top of his game racing. (pic on p.8 )

Great video with excellent footage of drivers and cars. Oldtimers like me will fondly recognize Jesse Coleman with the checkered flag at just after the 7:00 minute mark.

On Brant's recent blog showing the details of the restoration of an early (VIN unknown) '65 GT350, he mentions and shows that this particular car has the early version '64-1/2 abrupt bend shifter handle.  I'm curious as to just when that was phased out.  I've been unable to find any information in cyberspace that answers this question so I'm posting it here.
