Great racing back in the day...Chaparral, Lola, Ferrari but 427 Cobras come on strong late in the race.

Shelby American was just a twinkle in his eye but he was selling cars in Dallas and at the top of his game racing. (pic on p.8 )

Great video with excellent footage of drivers and cars. Oldtimers like me will fondly recognize Jesse Coleman with the checkered flag at just after the 7:00 minute mark.

On Brant's recent blog showing the details of the restoration of an early (VIN unknown) '65 GT350, he mentions and shows that this particular car has the early version '64-1/2 abrupt bend shifter handle.  I'm curious as to just when that was phased out.  I've been unable to find any information in cyberspace that answers this question so I'm posting it here.

Sure hope so. Over 1,000 homes destroyed and now, snow and freezing temps make it worse. :(

Up For Auction / 1965-1966 Trunk Mat

Just saw this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/203528519643?hash=item2f633ebfdb:g:TdsAAOSwdm1g80qs
Looks legit.  Don't know the seller.  Seems like a reasonable price for a hard-to-find item.  I have two NOS and wouldn't sell mine for that!

Cleaning out the poster inventory:
Two factory-issued Ford GT posters (24x36 with Red on one side, White on the other). Excellent condition with no creases or pin holes.  Suggestion: Frame one on one side, frame the other on the other side.  $50 for both shipped in a heavy 4-inch diameter cardboard mailing tube via USPS Media Mail to any CONUS address.

Rare, two-poster showroom dealer set featuring the 1993 Mustang Cobra. Were probably meant to be mounted back-to-back. Printed on heavy stock and cannot roll. Each are 14"x29". Will ship flat between heavy cardboard via USPS Media Mail to any CONUS address. $50 for the set.

Send me a PM for payment instructions and your shipping address.
