Your car takes a C5DZ-4635-A rear u-joint. 1260-3 15/32" span.
The front is a C5DZ-4635-B. The same specs are listed. a good parts store should be able to convert those numbers to whats currently available.

Have (1) C7TZ-2A713-C new old stock Ford truck emergency brake lever boot. These were used as the best available replacement seals for '66 Shelby override style traction bars. Still in the Ford factory sealed bag. $350 plus the ride.

I had all four control arms restored by a reputable business in the Mustang/Shelby community using reproduction boots. All four boots disintegrated without the car ever moving. I heard the story of the ring diameter clearances, but I believe the composition of the rubber could also be a factor. I would use NOS boots if at all possible.

Could A.O. Smith have had a facility in Shelby Township Michigan at some point in time?
