These were sold years ago by a Shelby vendor. Can't remember which one though.It's purpose was to keep the exhaust off of the rear of the car. Had nothing to do with the fuel.

The Ford catalog lists C7ZZ-7515-D for 289 hipo and 390 engines. 12" long. Never found out if this is an error though. I have an NOS one I'll try and dig out.

Those are a Ford accessory part. Number ends with a "B" suffix. You want ones with a "D" at the end.

The early '67 350 was (and still is) mine too and was actually painted Guardsman Blue! An original factory black car #69. I bought it with hubcaps (also incorrect) and was getting a set of Magatars to put back on it.

That's Mongo's 'vert and my Alcalpulco Blue '69 ht with a Shelby 2-4V Boss 302 motor. These were great shows back when everyone drove their cars!
