Radiator Hose Tower Clamps or Wire clamps on 68 GT500 & GT500KR?

What is considered correct on these cars. I know Marti Auto Works sells the hoses with wire clamps but I've seen several vintage photos of Mustangs that clearly show Tower clamps on the upper hose.

 My car #02267 1968 GT500KR with a 4/30/68 build date had the tower clamps.

I just consulted the Marcus Anghel 428 Cobra Jet detailing guide and it says that tower clamps were used in 1968 production.

Wire clamps were also used and probably more common on KRs

Looked through the pictures and found 4 examples of what appear to be original hoses and clamps
