May will be here before you know it. This year's Indiana SAAC Spring Fling will feature the 69 Shelby, and our feature car will be the 1969, GT500 , "Styling Prototype" black convertible. Along with it, we also have three 69 Shelby Drag Pack convertibles already lined up.

As usual, we will have the Friday driving tour, Saturday show, and Saturday evening banquet with guest speaker, Chuck Cantwell.

Help us break the record for the most 69 Shelbys. Shooting for 50-69's for their 50th.

1969 - "Summer of Love" and the Summer of Shelby!

Registration will open in early February, watch your mailbox, or our website :

I hear we might even get Chris Brown to do a return appearance?

Special Ed

Yes he needs to return the asphalt he peeled away last time leaving the parking lot right in front of Joyce Yates & boy did he get chewed out!!!

And another speech!

You never know what will occur when alcohol and cool cars are combined!!!

That show and event is a must for those who haven't been to one. Great people, cars and more. You won't be sorry.

Just talked to brent and we are going to allow 70 shelbys to be part of the 69 shelby 50th show since 70 shelbys were all built in 1969 & the 69 shelbys that had the changes made at Kar Kraft to 1970s had to be completed by the end of the year 1969.   So now its a 69-70 shelby 50th year show!!

So, Ed, what about an old black 68 vert joining this year?
68 Fella

Special Ed

Sure don would love to have that great 68 triple crown triple black vert well earned high point gold car since its been shown at all the other major shows last year after a recent concours restoration after collecting 68 parts for 30 some years.

This is turning out to be a hell of a show as always!  some very significant cars attending..    Cant wait..

Just talked to rex myers & they are going to bring their 69 shelby gt500 #2860 pastel grey with the red cougar dash interior & its been YEARS since we seen that unique shelby of fred goodell  conelec fuel injection development. Been working with George H. (classic design concepts)  making a kool 50th aniv. 69 shelby grille emblem (limited collectors item) that will be part of the 69 shelby registration packet for the 69-70 shelbys coming to IN. SAAC meet. Also just a short drive north the Steven Juliano collection will be a BIG hit selling at indy mecum auction on friday so you can make a big weekend trip hit the auction friday come to Brown County SAAC meet saturday.

It's going to be a good one.
Getting cars registered that haven't been out in public in quite some time.

It has the feel of a Spring Fling of the late 80's, early 90's.
All we need now is for Joyce's, Honey West Cobra, and Steve's ,66 GT350S to show up.

I can just see it now, Joyce Yates giving Chris Brown "HELL" for a bit of an infraction on the show field.
Boy, those were the days.

So, for those that have never been to, and those that haven't been in some time, It's time to head to Nashville, Indiana
for IN SAAC's 42nd Spring Fling and help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 69-70 Shelby GT350 & GT500's !

69 GT350 Vert

I just registered for this event - never attended it before.  Is there room to park our enclosed trailer and tow vehicle at the hotel parking lot or somewhere close?  We are planning to bring my 69 GT350 convertible.
