Correct hood pin and cable orientation

Can someone post a picture of the correct direction of hood pins and how the cables are routed over the hood

First the pin plates are clocked so the rivets are at 12,3,6 9. The pin post is clocked so that the hole is pointed at a 45 degree toward the hood scoop. You adjust the height of the post so that the hole is slightly above the plate  when the hood is fastened down . You should be able to push down one of the rivets on the pin plates with your thumb to expose the pin hole above the plate . You do not want the pin post adjusted down so close to the surface of the plate that the click pin drags across the plate scratching it. The cables are typically secured on the top edge of the grill on early cars and on the forward edge of the pin support bracket on later cars. I hope this helps.
