I own two 1968 Shelby GT500KR convertibles.  Both are supposedly restored to MCA judging standards.  However, they have different oil caps. One marked Motocraft and the one with a brass fitting is marked Autolite. Were both styles used or is only one of them correct?  Thanks for any info you can provide.

Autolite marked with the steel zinc dichromate fitting for 68 . 69/70 would have the plastic elbow and Autolite marked. Motorcraft marked is a later ford replacement. MCA would expect the steel zinc dichromate elbow but maybe just a note for the Motorcraft trademark cap. That is in Trailered concours category.

Thanks Bob.  I appreciate your response.

The reproduction caps are sort of not correct. They have the Autolite marking in the same spot as the black caps. The correct OEM caps are a little different.
