Inspected this car in norway years ago and had to take a ferry to see it kool car.

This car was imported from Belgium too Sweden and from Sweden to Norway in the early 80s, this car was back then equipped with a 351 cleveland type engine. I should have the recipt of engine work/overhaul on this somewhere in my house. The car had several owners here in Norway before it was shipped to US. The car was not used mutch

Think it was back in 2018. Times flies!

Inspected it back in 2016. Has a lot of pics of it. If I remember correctly it had both doors replaced (70 style) and no door tag. Dates on the seatbelts are all over the place. At least one of them has a datecode of 15/68.

IMHO Claude is Shelby royalty.
The only guy to race a GT350 at LeMans. Engine blew.
1967
Car: Shelby GT350R (chassis 5R539).  This was the same car Dubois had been racing in Europe that year.
Team: The car was entered by Team Claude Dubois.
GT field: The GT category Dubois competed in consisted of seven entries, including Ferrari 275 GTBs and a Corvette.
Shelby distributor: At the time, Dubois was a successful racing driver and also the exclusive European car dealer for Shelby.
Previous owner 6S843 - GT350H & 68 GT500 Convert #135.
Mine: GT1 Mustang, 1998 SVT 32V, 1929 Model A Coupe, Wife's: 2004 Tbird

He was contracted by Shelby directly for BeNeLux only from July 1st, 1967.
5R539 was owned by Ford Antwerp however, given to Claude for racing.

Ford Performance Ltd./CH delivered to D A CH.
Intersport to France.
Alcaraz, Albion for Spain.
..

Interestingly 480002 is not in Claudes own later car listing given to SAAC, but 480007 (Bruxelles Car show display),..0050 and most other 69/70ies. 480002 went obviously from Claude to a Gent/BE based customer.
