thought they are the same as long as they were 140 mph and had the trip odometer

I believe the 67 and 68 speedometers are the same.

not really the part numbers on the back are different and there also very small differences between them in the face sometimes.

Where was it restored and is the face painted on or is it a sticker?

chipsdad56

The speedometer was restored by Ken's Mustang Clusters using only OEM Ford parts. It is show quality and calibrated. The face is original Ford OEM and not a sticker. Ken originally said it was for either a 1967 or 1968 Shelby or Mustang. I bought it a few years ago to replace one in a 68 GT350 but never got to it. Very hard to find one in this condition. I have more than 50 years in the hobby so please ask me any questions.
