Cowl weatherstripping clips

Put back the cowl clips on the Hertz. They were missing. I noticed that the rubber stripping on each end was loose which seemed like a design flaw. Then I researched the issue and discovered that clips screw to the firewall and hold the ends in place. Taking a fanatical deep dive into said clips I noticed that aftermarket ones are smooth with no engraving. The originals have a cursive "A" stamped into the metal. Well I had to have original. Just as a note there is a difference between aftermarket and original even on something that is seemingly as inconsequential as two clips. Once installed, one would not even see that letter "A" but it was something I had to have. Who knows where the originals went. They tend to corrode over time I noticed online. Good examples still exist however. Special note that the firewall cowl rubber "ledge" needs to be at the top. Correct me if I am wrong.  I noticed on my dad's blue car that the assembler reversed said weatherstripping and put the whole strip on upside down then just screwed the stripping to the firewall with no clips. That will be corrected. Bit by bit my car is healing.
Addendum: During the install, the weatherstripping had no predrilled holes so I used a small knife to break the skin of the rubber and match up to the firewall screw holes while holding the beltline straight. Then pre installed the screws and then put the clips under the rubber shelf and pushed each clip onto the screws then tightened. I also sprayed the hell out of the clips with no rust paint prior to installation.

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"
