I openly admit I know little to nothing about '69/'70 Shelby's, but I'm learning.  Can you please answer a newbie question as to the purpose of the second door button on the driver's side of this 1969 GT500?
I initially thought perhaps it was part of an alarm system, but now I have my doubts.

It is for the Tilt-A-way steering system.

You are welcome Brian.  That is assuming it is the same as my 68 Shelby of course but I think that is a safe assumption.
