It was suggested by other SAAC forum members that I also post this here. Rather than repeat myself, you can find additional details here:

As many here know the original radios used in MKI and MKII Cobras were Motorola 323TC's or 324TC's. These are basically universal radios that were sold to the general public as 323T'S or 324's (I have yet to find a 324T, but I did find what is thought to be an original 424TC radio and the TC on it is ink stamped). those 323T and 324 model numbers were die stamped on the housing on the forward antenna input side. The C was ink stamped on the 323T model while it appears that the TC was ink stamped on the 324 models. I believe those ink stamps were to designate it specifically for the Cobra's.

I've had some down time while my SPF is having some additional work done on it out of state, so I decided to spend it trying to locate as many Motorola 323T and 324 radios as I could find. I believe over the past several months I may have at this point cornered the market on what has been available. So what did I intend to do with all of these radios you might ask? Well, I decided I was going to clone one of the 323T' or 324's for myself and once I had figured out how to do that I would continue to make others for anyone on this forum who might be interested in having one for their car (original or replica/continuation). Long story short I have 7 available (8, if you count mine) of either 323TC or 324TC with rechromed faceplates, new "COBRA" radio dials made by Instrument Specialties, repainted dial pointers, original reconditioned 2-piece knobs for 11 of them (the knobs are still in process). Those have all been bench tested nd all have working lights and some even have working speakers. I also have another 8 that are other model numbers, but otherwise look identical. I might add that.the only way to read the model number once it is in the car is to contort yourself behind the dash to get a look at the stamping. The original style radio mounting bezel for these radios can be purchased from https://www.csxparts.com/products/trim-radio-face-plate-289?_pos=1&_psq=Radio&_psid=8ffa8a3a3&_ss=e.

Basically, I'm just looking to cover my cost on these radios to make them available to you, $895 each plus shipping for those with an original model number and $795 for the non-original model numbered ones (lower 48 only).

Attached is a picture on the 16 radios. The 8 on the right are the 8 with the correct model numbers. Those 8 on the left are those with the other model numbers, but otherwise look identical. Yes, they all have the internal speaker, just different model numbers from the same era. If you look closely at the radio dials you may be able to see that I also had them all made with the correct blue Civil Defense triangles. Messge me, if interested and let me know if your car is original or who the manufacturer of your car is.

Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.
