Does anyone have an original KR 4spd trans out of the car? I am looking to verify the color of the drive gear for the speedo cable.

Correct me if im wrong,
If im not mistaken the black gear was used for cars with consertive rear end gears like 300:1 - 3.50:1 ,
and the pink speedo gear used used on the cars with aggressive rear end gear 3.70 3.89 3.91 4.11 etc

MPC from 69-70 shows a C5ZZ-17285-A a 6 tooth pink gear on the tailshaft of CJ with 3.50 gears.
