I am struck by how well the exterior, underhood, and interior presents, and then you see the underneath. It looks as though it wasn't even cleaned before everything was sprayed with flat black. Upfront the power steering return hose has two kinks and what looks like a split in it, bottom of the engine not detailed like the top. Probably a nice car, and I love the color.

What is the purpose of what appears to be a can in the wheel well in photo 130? I would assume that it is for emission control or weight for vibration. Not enough cam for a vacuum canister.

that's me. But so do others on 68-70 Shelbys. They are even posting on this thread. So why are you so interested in me? For the record I'm very careful how I post. I don't critique cars on the auctions. Someone asks a question I'll help them. If I think a seller is incorrect I'll sometimes correct them. In this case, the seller thinks the quarter panels are original. They  very well could be, but when I see there are no spot wheels in the wheel wells  which are pretty indicative of a car that has had quarters  replaced ( pause no sound deadener in the pass side trunk but no pics of the ds trunk) so I asked the seller to look close and take better pics of those areas for those who are concerned. on top of that the battery apron was replaced. It looks like the passenger door was re-skin because that is not a factory skin that's on the door. Don't know about the driver's door, but I didn't call out the battery apron nor did I call out the passenger door didn't call out the grill there's other things I could call out.said I believe the floors are factory.  I just don't call out everything that is wrong on a car because every car on there because most are not Concours winning cars.  many times people tagged me to post on a car so I do it.  many times I sent personal messages to a seller of a car asking things for people I know who are interested in the cars. I've helped people bid and buy cars on bat. If you do follow me on bat  you'll find out I really do not post on anything other than 68 to 70 Shelby's or 69 Mustangs. I'm doing a full-blown restoration on a 68 GT500 with a lot of input from Pete so I'm getting pretty well-versed on 68 Shelby's now.  69 Shelbys, I've always been pretty well-versed thanks to Ed, Jeff,  Bob and others over the years and having owned my car for 41 years and and restored  a few.

many mistakes when  this car was restored/repainted as I'm sure you know Ed being a judge. The typical using hex washer bolts to hold the front valance on a car instead of the painted bumper bolts.

thanks. I try and be fair and not affect an auction. I've met a lot of new friends thanks to BAT.  BTW I have not posted on the green KR on BAT right now.
