What's the most common thing that gets cars deduction?

Good points. It reminds me of when I got caught speeding and was mad at the cop for giving me the speeding ticket. I then thought about all of the other times I was speeding and didn't get caught for speeding.

Hi,
Just 1 more thing to add to the growing list of things for a rule meeting. This should be a clear written statement about the Shelby tag, and all judges should be following a consistent way to judge
Such as any original tag gets full points for authenticity and is only deducted for/on condition.
Reproduction tags are deducted for being not original. Judges decide on this when the car is entered
Yes we are human and can have opinions but the judges carry the largest responsibility and need the
Proper written rules to back them up.

While I agree with your statements, its not possible to have a written rule for every item. You have to remember this was a unique case from many years ago. Additionally, the same car was judged Gold later and no deduction was taken for the original tag.

Consistency is very hard to find when you have different judges with different experiences.

I would like to see the SAAC sheet, to see if deductions were made for a reproduction tag which was also present on the car. I suspect there was not, so the minimal deduction for a worn tag washes out it my opinion.
