Can anybody here recommend ceramic headers for my 69 GT500?

Keep in mind headers on a 428 will create more heat in the engine bay. You may or will experience heat soak in the starter system.
I would recommend a hi torque mini starter and check battery cables and ground.
I used a starter from RobMac on my 428 SCJ with great results

What is your end goal for headers?
Why not ceramic coat your existing exhaust manifolds?

Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

Why do it?  Because if you really want to relive the period, everybody did it!  ;D

As back then, if you walked up to a car with "cast-irons", you knew he didn't have anything;  probably a "daddy-bought", and his parents wouldn't let junior muck with it!   ::)

And we don't want no wimpy little "shorties" either!  Headers used to make a statement as to the intent, part of the finishing effort provided by the owner that the factory couldn't provide, but was essential to the muscle car heritage.   ;)

    Scott.

I had read this somewhere. Can't new headers be engineered to NOT interfere? Hasn't anybody figured that one out?

Primarily sound, weight, efficiency.

I didn't know you could?
