Finally Got to work on the car today, and upon removing the shock plate I found the spring locating pin sheared off back in 1971 when it took an off from a street racing incident. Moved the rear end forward approximately 3/8 of an inch... Wheel sits centered in the wheel well and all is good!. Thanks to all that chimed in. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!!! A big thank you for every ones input to helping get this thing going again after 50 plus years. Car goes straight NO crabbing upon hard acceleration. Will try to get it out for some of the BIG AZ auctions and shows coming to town in the near future. Be safe- Happy Holidays!

Its been a crazy FUN,LONG exhausting week out in the desert... home of THE worlds greatest auction. Great to hang out and see old time friends and a few new friends thrown in for good luck. Prices seemed a bit soft this year with a few home runs but the fun was off the scale. To all those headed back to the frozen tundra of half of the states... Be safe till we meet again, and keep it swinging, and the tires rolling! ;)  ;D

Now that my car is nearing completion... I wanted to know what under hood and decklid stickers were used on a 67? Where were they placed, and did all get the same stickers. Thanks in advance!

Are you asking about the possible labels applied to the hood and or trunk lid from the supplier on some cars/parts or about the stickers and decals applied in the engine compartment and trunk areas?

This is for 67 #1189 correct?

Thanks for responding Jeff... I see stickers on some 67 Shelbys but not others. Did some get them and others not. Plaza glass if memory serves me right, dont remember if it was under decklid and hood or if just the fiberglass late only cars without the steel liners?

427heaven

Yes its for 1189 if it makes a difference.....

Well yes it does since the Plaza stickers would have only been found on all glass hoods or trunk lids so if you didn't use that steel lined hood you had then yes both would have received on though they often didn't stay stuck long.

Here is a thread on the hood and placement

And for trunk lids and so that I can get you at least one picture right this second of one trunk application try this thread for the moment.

Remember if they are located in an area where over spray from the exterior surface overspray would have attached itself then the sticker got overspray as mentioned in the threads. Don't know if or who is currently reproducing good quality repos but here is a thread on one of those efforts
