9F02M480739 Black Jade 1969 GT350 - Looking to find shell

Hi all

I got a buddy that is trying to remarry original parts to a 1969 GT 350 to the original body. Within the last month he came across a marketplace ad for a complete set of parts for a 69 GT350, minus shell. The owner had kept the parts all this time since he disassembled the car in the early 2000s.  My buddy acquired all these parts this last month .  It  Turns out the shell was in storage back circa 2005 and for whatever reason the rent wasn't paid and the shell was sold for a $1 by the storage company.  It then  went onto eBay and sold, again circa 2005.  It is believed the shell went  to Texas. It may have been resold again. My buddy has the complete matching drive train, door tag, interior, everything to put this car back together. He was going to use some of the parts to replace parts on his 69 GT 350 but is feeling guilty.  He would like to see the parts, at least the drive train, go back to the original car. Does  anybody out there know where it is? Did anybody see this thing sell on eBay in 2005?  Any leads  would be appreciated.  Please send me a PM and I'll put you in contact with my buddy Mike.

Hi all,

The car has been found from a Face Book group "Lost Muscle car".  The owner lives in Florida and will be back in the state in a few weeks.  Mike will talk to the owner then and see where the car is and if he is interested in any of the original parts.  Yahoo.

I will try to get some pictures of the car to share later.
