We have opened a SAAC-51 Website on our club server, saac.com

We will use this as a central repository for convention information. As new data becomes available, we will continue to post here on the forum, but updated docs will reside on saac.com

We have a lot more to add as plans are formulated, so check the site often

If you see errors, or want to see MORE info posted there or info that might be missing, let us know. Remember, at this point, there is quite a lot of info yet to be released.

So nobody going to saac -51 ?

Cobrask8

Looks like we'll have a much more limited role at this convention, but the core staff group should be there. Currently just waiting and seeing how things shake out.

I'll be there with the Cobra, signed up for two days on the track and dinner.

Mainly interested in what parts vendors are thinking  about setting up at this event and if ford parts buying public will be attending as there hasnt been a big ford swap in the southeast usa in a long time and been years since a saac nats been in the southeast. Saac just had the 50th and MCA 50th  combined may have a good turnout as swap meets have been getting smaller every year with less vendors and less parts around since so many cars been restored. I am heading to the ohio ford swap this weekend and talking to vendors to see how many plan on going and if so the tent situation as we know it will be hot down in GA in augiust and we wont forget about the big rain out at the 50th mustang event in NC back years ago as that big tent we got for our 50  rare muscle cars for the 50th mustang event paid off. So how many ford parts vendors are thinking about going and getting a big tent?  thanks  ed meyer

Ron did call me and is looking into the tent rental since no outside tents can not  be bought in as everything has to go thru the track owners contracted people or thru MCA.

To clarify, they will permit small personal tents (e.g., 10 x 10 ) to be used.

Any rentals for anything larger must be ordered thru the track

I'd add that small tents are allowed for the size of a car. Be sure that it is strapped down to avoid high winds. A brief late summer thunderstorm can crop up anytime.

I find two SAAC 51 websites (the different code is saac51 and saac-51).

I say SAAC is late summer while the 48th Walter Mitty is the end of the month.

I apologize for not understanding these computer codes. I am not good on any computer.

I was sent an email about entering the SAAC dinner event. I had to enter the SAAC event over on MCA which was my only option due the motorregistry site (I get it since they have the legal track day forms). My entry there was approved.

How do I get tickets to the SAAC dinner? Where will it be? I am not in a hurry on these things as I understand that you are in the early months of this complicated plan.
