What is the correct round base antenna to install on the rear fender of a 1968 Shelby?  I have seen two possible antennae listed, C7ZZ-18813-A and C8WY-18813-A, but nothing definitive.

"Shelby rear mount" might be misleading to some.

Its the standard Mustang C7ZZ antenna

I'm looking for 9F02M480004. Have you seen it?

Pete can you elaborate on the position of the antenna when it is all the way retracted? I know the 65-6(7?) are different in the retracted position than a 68 so when mounted judges would know by retracting the antenna to see if it is correct or not. Thanks.

65/66 antenna ball sticks up a little to over a inch from the main mast section when fully retracted. The 67/68 antenna ball typically sets flush with the main mast section when fully collapsed.
