Checkered Flag -Chris Long

Chris Long was the son of David Long. David Long was the owner of Conelec. This is a company that worked closely with Shelby creating fuel injection cars.

I met Chris more than twelve years ago. Chris was instrumental in providing his engineering talents to help restore working EFI cars. We worked on the Green Hornet together.

Chris and his father's legacy will be part of the Shelby story.

My condolences to his family and friends.  His passing is, first of all, a personal loss to them.

I had the opportunity to meet Chris and observe his work on the Green Hornet project.  His passing also leaves a void in the niche of Shelby Conelec technical expertise. 

To those few people who pursue the Conelec history, carry on in Chris' memory, as well as his father's.
