Yellow '68 Shelby GT 500 KR Convert For Sale

I am helping a friend sell his yellow 68 Shelby KR Convert with VIN 8T03R213225-3950. This car is very solid. It was put in a dry heated storage from the early 80's until about 2020 and is showing around 57,000 miles. The car was undercoated with a heavy type of oil. The car was painted before it was put away. The brake booster will need to be rebuilt. It still looks nice but would need paint to be a show car. The top is new. It has the original interior which is nice but the chrome on the dash bezel is faded some. It still has it's original motor and all the smog. The transmission and rear end are also original. It had on some aftermarket wheels but know has on the original 15" wheels and Shelby hub caps. This car runs and drives very good. The guy is asking $165,000 for the car.
