Looking for a great place to have my 1966 Master brake cylinder restored?

Recommendation :

I would buy a brand new master cylinder for about $50

Put it on the car enjoy the car

Then send the original one out to be rebuilt

You will experience no down time

They did my proportioning valve for my '66 last winter.

I went with White Post since I have plenty of time and the number of references I received.  Thanks

Not sure if this is still a thing, but some 65-66 master cylinders I had sleeved/rebuilt over the past few years have a slightly deeper cavity in the master cylinder piston where the push rod goes in.  It causes the pedal to sit a bit lower than the clutch pedal and reduces effectiveness of the brakes.  Have had at least 3 65-66 disc brake master cylinders like this.  2 of the cars I used an adjustable push rod.  Another had the push rod length modified.  It's about 1/4" difference.

Might be worth asking White Post about it.

I have had excellent work done by Brake and Equipment Warehouse for sleeving master cylinders.
They did it with a very quick turn around time. Also, they answered all my questions and were very eager to help. I
would rate their customer service as A++.
