68 KR front steering/suspension rebuild

Im about to start redoing my front suspension/steering. Is there a best choice (most orig looking) kit for this project ?

Unfortunately no.  Depending on how close you want it to look like original, it will take searching for a mix of NOS and original parts to restore.  Suspension/steering-wise, there's just not that many accurate reproduction parts available.

If the car had any of the original suspension, it would be worth evaluating what is there and determining if any of it is good enough to restore.

Or even source out - find someone who has an original front suspension from a disc brake equipped Mustang that has removed it to replace it all with new reproduction parts. What some guys consider restoring a car. Worth a shot - and since they should be really affordable pick up two sets or at least addition individual parts. Restored and refresh all of them then choose the best and resell the left overs just like so many other parts on the car or when doing some forms of plating

Good points made by all posting so far. Chockostang  http://www.chockostangclassicmustang.com/    specialize in Mustang steering and brake components. and may be able to provide you with restored original or nice used that needs restored if you want to tackle that part yourself. He is a good guy IMO tell him I said hi.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, sorry for the delayed response, I have "notify me of replys" checked but got no Email ? I believe both of the upper A arms and 1 of the lower ones are original.
I thought I had seen a place somewhere that restored A arms with the correct ball joints, rivets etc. but cant remember who.

I would use original parts. The exception would be the tie rod rubbers from NPD - those are pretty decent. Dan Chock may have original idler arm and bracket if yours is not rebuildable.
