"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Nice to know these cars make great storage shelves, right?

I once looked at a dark blue 67 GT 500 a little outside Kankakee Illinois. Had every dead riding lawnmower packed in the garage with it.

Though I believe much of psychology is a bit of sorcery mixed with soft science, there does appear to be pattern behaviour in these cases that I do not fully understand. Maybe some paranoia that someone might find the car and steal it is at work, therefore making the car unrecognizable is some sort of psychological crutch or cost effective security measure absent any actual security system put in place.

Seems always the same old tired story: I'm gonna fix it up some day ".

The story is in syndication and it repeats on late night cable channels.

I have seen it many times.

Maybe it's a form of reincarnation.  Perhaps they were gladiators at some point in their many lives with the good intentions of fixing that broken chariot for one more race in the Coliseum.

Fascinating story and video !

Can't wait for part # 2

When the modern gladiators fix that broken chariot for one more race in the Coliseum.

TA Coupe

There's one out here in an apartment building parking lot for drug recovery people,And the guy supposedly starts it up about once a month drives it around the block A couple of times and then parks it again but will not sell it and it's been sitting around for years and years. It's been about two years since I last checked on it.
