I decided to clear my shelf of old race carbs

6 or 7 lemans bowl race carbs restored, tested, and ready to bolt on.

List 2919, 3 3255s, and 2 3255-1 carbs.
I also have a set of BK/BJ carbs tested.

Anyway folks here randomly ask me if I have any of these available.
This is for the most part what I have, so I restored them all. I don't have any more inventory and doubt I will again, so if you need one, check the link.

If you hit me up in the next 3-4 days I can alter them to suit your engine, otherwise they'll get boxed up.

Quick question: do you re-build/restore the old Autolite/Motorcraft 4300-D spreadbore carbs?

John, the ones you have were both rebuilt by Tony Oddo.If I remember correctly. If anything, possibly newer gaskets that might be a little bit better because I don't know how long ago they were rebuilt And what gaskets were used.

No, not those they are perfect and Drew got me a kit for them. I need two more sets of SK carburetors for engines in the queue, I may have a line on one other set, but people who have them don't always want to let them go.

So I politely wait.

Drew did a great job of providing the extremely rare cores and restoring them for a great project!  Michael Sedlak was out visiting us in Washington and we ran up with my family to grab lunch with Mark Hovander. During lunch the five of us were discussing a couple of engine projects that are upcoming. We were touching on the Bill Clawson car engine and what was needed for that project. Carburetors were mentioned and Michael was telling me what was needed for the project. He had a couple of leads, the more he described what he was looking for the more I realized what he was looking for was the SK carburetors I had for our 1969 1/2 BOSS 302, to check my theory out I showed him a picture of our carburetors. Michael's face told me that our carbs were EXACTLY what he needed for his historical 1968 Bill Clawson car. Unfortunately our carburetors were not for sale. I told Michael that I would go on a hunt for carburetors for him.
I had talked with Drew at AFS about being able to find SK carburetors for yet another build previously, Drew said that he had a set of cores but wouldn't know when he would be able to get to them. I chased down a couple of leads for Michael and despite shaking all of the trees in my way the Unicorn carburetors needed for Michael's car were not showing up. I reached out to Drew again and when he realized that the carburetors were for a truly historic race car that Michael is uniquely the current caretaker of he responded that he would be able to get us a set. Drew appreciates history and the opportunity to complete the process of restoring the car correctly was something that he believed in. Well Michael and I never dreamed of finding carburetors so fittingly perfect for his car. But Drew had them. His SK carburetors he supplied to Michael were only 2 digits away from my pair. A huge Thank you to Drew!

Isn't that I was not wanting to do them,
It is just that my stock always takes a back burner to mail ins.
When a customer pulls their carbs off a car and sends them to me, getting them back is the priority. I hate going offshore and leaving a customer's parts in the shop.
My stock always waits until I have the time.

The other issue is all of my stock was found over a decade+, there are rarely "sets."  Whenever I'd see a single SK carb I'd buy it.
I have a few dozen singles and I try my best to match them up and get them so they'll work together.

Either way, these will work for Michael's car and at least they are off the shelf.

As I have clumsily attempted to say before, I get all of that. Please don't think I don't. Michael and I are over the moon with these. Nothing I posted was meant in any way to be a negative comment. In fact it was meant as a positive response to your services. You were finally my exit ramp to doing carburetors for other people. My standard commitment when asked now is send it to Drew, and except for the 3-4 people who I have been doing them for years they do.

Oh yeah man, didn't take it in a negative way.
I just feel bad that sometimes folks ask for stuff and it takes me a year to get to it.
I guess just explaining that.
