Hi all,

My early 68 Shelby GT500 has had its radiator support replaced during its restoration. Unfortunately the radiator support it was replaced with is missing several of the front Shelby fibreglass fixing holes. I would greatly appreciate if anybody could help with posting the assembly drawing/s which show the size and location of all holes in the 68 Shelby GT500 radiator support. Thanks

There are no additional holes for attaching the front fiberglass.

Headlight buckets bolt to the fenders and the lower valance rests on a shelf . The shelf utilizes existing holes

There are holes for the hood pin brackets.

Knowing which car you have might be helpful

Thanks. My car is a 68 GT500 manual non AC. I need to check the chassis number which is 007??. The radiator support holes I'm missing are for mounting brackets 17793 as per the below

That drawing is misleading

Every radiator support has the holes in it.

They are the holes used for the 17747 bracket. That bracket is shown but not used

The 17793 is used in its place

Knowing your unique Shelby number is important, it tells a lot about the car and what it should look like

Only additional holes are for hood pin brackets and ps cooler

Maybe this will help in the discussion. Sorry don't have the time, this moment, to label all the holes and cut outs ::)

Sorry that the front cross member is not visible in the picture.
