Jim Marietta is the one building them. There was a small crew of original employees involved in the first one Jim. Ted Sutton, Pete Brock. The car at the show has all the final tweaks that were planned for the R Model. Most didn't make it due to time and cost restraints - and it was winning so why develop further? They got a license to build 36 of them from SA. They have done a couple to original specs and had them FIA inspected to vintage race in Europe.
