upper rear window molding question.

 On a 1967-8 fastback, can someone tell me which way the upper corner rear window moldings go? One of mine is pretty beat up and I want to replace it but I cant remember which is the left or right. I know, I should have labeled them when I took it apart. Does the long side go across the top, or does it go from top to bottom.
 Sometimes I am such a doofus. Thanks for any help.

If I recall the long side goes on the side of the glass, but if you set that molding on-the car, you should be able to tell

The outside stainless moulding has the long side to verticle-short side to upper horizontal. Hope this helps.
