Found a couple of cool prints today at Hobby Lobby

I was at Hobby Lobby today and spotted two things fellow enthusiasts like us might like for our man caves.  First was a nice 24" x 24" print of a nightmist 1967 GT500 on canvas.  Price is only $36.99.

I like everything about it except the front license plate with the prancing Mustang logo on it.  Aside from that, it kinda reminds me of Michael (2112)'s car 0875, a personal favorite of mine.

Second is a 12" x 15" metal sign of a 1968 GT350, more specifically car 0020.  It only cost $5.99.

I found it rather odd that they would include the full VIN plate for the 1968, but I guess it's a well known car and the current owner (Ken Carlson of Tacoma, WA) has nothing to worry about.  Still, would you let them pust your VIN plate on the sign?  Am I just being paranoid (as usual)?

Thanks,

VIN plate is a non issue IMO. Although good looking my historical sensibilities would keep me from getting the 68 print because of the many past owner added modification. The 67 print however is a proud representation IMO. I will squint a little so i don't see the running horse.

Good finds

The plate on the 67 needs to be CA VRD389 - the Blue Lady

The metal sign looks like it was originally a portion of someone show board.

Yes, Hobby Lobby has some neat stuff. I have the '67 Shelby as pictured...bought it a couple of years ago during X-Mas. Also, some Mopar, 442, and others...
Intend to buy more for Christmas again.

Hi all,
Thanks for posting this......it shows there are still some affordable things in this hobby.
The tool box artwork looks like Michael Irvine's  He often uses a car reflected in the side profile of car. This toolbox appears to be a great gift idea!!

These photos are from the previous car owner taken in the early 1990's. I was surprised to see this at Hobby Lobby also. I purchased the car about 12 years ago and have made several corrections in the engine compartment.
