Knowing that I'll get some push back on this-70k (or higher) hammer plus the fees is great for the seller but as a buyer/owner, imo, you're  so far upside down it's scary.  It's not a GT.  It's not a 4spd.  It's got a bunch of cool options that were not factory installed.  Better plan would have been to leave the car factory and then set the restoration in motion.  I'm sure it's pleasing to the eye but are you kidding me.  And, the room for appreciation going forward is as slim as it gets-again imo.  Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder on this one.  For the money, put me in touch with Bret for a nice driver quality Shelby.

lots of buyers in the market for a good looking, driving car and do not care about originality.

Just look at the Restomod Vettes, Eleanors etc they are bringing way more money then most concours cars.

To each his own that's what makes the collector car hobby great.
