1981. Factory double black KR 4 speed with A/C. Pulled it out of a construction ditch in Virginia by wrapping a chain around the roof and lifting it with a backhoe.

 The black KR Bill Collins posted is alive and well and living in Canada. I'm currently putting the motor together and hoping to see the road this spring. I can post some current photos if anyone is interested.

It is indeed rust free, and now straight. All we did was to give the undercarriage a good cleaning.
