67 Trunk Mat Identification

Here are some 1967 and 1968 trunk mats I got out the other day.  The plaid are 67, and the other (felt and speckled) are 68.  None have a cutout around the filler neck like the one in the post.

I hope everyone can understand finding a C7ZZ trunk mat in a 1967 Shelby that's been sitting for 49 years was an exciting moment...

FYI I have seen numerous examples over the years of the plaid 67 style mat being used on early production 68 Shelby's and Mustang's on survivor type cars. Apparently their use extended after job 1 for a while.

I hope finding out that it was a replacement didn't diminish your excitement too much. The speckled mat oddity marked with a C7ZZ engineering number instead of a C8ZZ was very interesting in it's own rite.
