Someone had said it was a re-body, that true?

I don't know about that but I can see why a red flag might be raised given the appearance of the welded in panel with the Ford VIN.

As long as it was disclosed to buyers prior to the sale.

Should not be a surprise to no one.

Again $650,000 - cash money great sale!

Was fortunate to see it yesterday morning front and center. Beautiful car, great venue.

Interesting, this is the first I have ever heard of this auction company. Have they been around very long?

Is this what you're talking about bob?

Yes. It's privately owned in one of the nicest all in door facilities in the country. They run a dealer style auction weekly, but 3-4x a year hold an antique auction. The owner does it because he enjoys it. Has the potential to be on best auctions out there due to their venue.

Remember when the car was found (pre-restoration) and some one asked about the specific car here on this site.

If I recall correctly it was located in a shop south east of me. A potential buyer contacted me about going to look at it when it popped up for sale.

At that time it was for sale on the Hemmings site in 2020

Could just be paint build up around the VIN stamp, certainly requires further inspection.

It was for sale in 2020, advertised for $350k, on a rotisserie.

Actually, I purchased # 33 right after Covid with the help of Craig Conley.
The previous owner had lost his job due to the pandemic and had to sell it.

Venice cars are special.

It ended up in PA at a restoration shop.

Damn, the guys that have the cars I want never seem to have financial issues 😂

I'm looking for 9F02M480004. Have you seen it?

Left front inner may have been replaced, therefore had to weld in Vin number?
