It's probably a 6000 series (1000 is pure aluminum). 6061 is common in the aircraft industry. What will be different from "original" hand hammered cars is the temper. They stamp out body sections in one blow so the constant tap-tap-tap of hand shaping that induces hardness is eliminated. I'd wager they start with T3 or 4.
