Anyone know of someone who is restoring the plastic/wood steering wheels? My Shelby is missing her original wheel, I would like to buy one and have it restored. I haven't been able to find a NOS GT wheel. Thanks

Hello 6S896,

I think I have what you are looking for. It's in really rough shape, but it's straight and not bent. You are more than welcome to it, if it's the correct wheel. I didn't have the heart to toss it, thinking one day I might attempt to restore it.
Cover the shipping USPS or UPS and it's yours.
Shoot me a PM with your info if you want it so I can box it up and get you a shipping cost.

Cheers,
~Earl J

Hi Terry and Roy,

All is well I've retired, life is great Terry. How's Mrs K? Miss you guys. Give her my regards.
Roy. Up here in the North East the winter salt is finally off the roads. I can actually drive my car again. Instead of dinner in SFO it's now dinner in Kingston or Gananoque maybe Ottawa when we're up for a long drive. I skied a ton, got in 41 days this past winter. I'll be in Carmel/Monterey in August as well as SAAC 50. Staying at the Embassy Suits for the SAAC event.

Best,
Earl

You're too young to be retired! I did in 2007! Sold all my Shelby's around 2017. Was time to give up track time as age was starting to take its toll! Hopefully I can attend SAAC 50. At 80 I take it one day at a time!! We are well and now live in Portland with trips to Vegas as our youngest son and grandkids live there!
