shock tower clip

While looking over John Guyer's original survivor 68 KR vert I noticed no clip or hole for a clip on pass side shock tower for the Shelby wiring. Is this a KR thing? Clip for reference. Hole for reference in pics below. Thanks.

The clip was only used on early built cars, all were pre KR

thanks, when looking at John's car I wasn't sure if just KRs or all because of the starter delay and snorkel on KRs.
